We all need a little help sometimes. Below are resources that some may find to be useful. In the case of a real emergency, 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Hotline (1-800-273-8255) are where you should go first. But for that day-to-day grind, check out these awesome organizations.

Help for Adult Victims of Child Abuse (HAVOCA)

This organization has, among other resources, info on support groups that meet around the world. Unfortunately, and perhaps in part due to the silence this blog is combatting, there aren’t many support groups in the US (29–compared to 95 in the United Kingdom, which is a fraction of the USA’s size). But, if you’re in luck and live in a big city, you might be able to find face-to-face support. Otherwise, check out their online forum.
